Josh Cooney Mercadal received his Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2024 and Master's in High Energy Physics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, in 2025. After a master's thesis using HPC and machine learning to conduct a particle physics analysis, he used this experience to steer into a career in power systems engineering at eRoots Analytics.
